Hamlet is a very famous play written by William Shakespeare. It takes place in Denmark and revolves around Hamlet acting crazy in order to take revenge on his uncle Claudius who murdered Hamlet's father by pouring poison into his ear while sleeping in order to steal the crown. Claudius shortly afterwards married Hamlets mother. As Hamlet is pretending to be mad I think he starts to slip into true madness and starts acting sporadically and ends up killing Polonius in his mother's chambers thinking it was his uncle spying on him.
